Bitmain Partnering With Fastblock, Bit5ive to Expand Into South America

Bitmain, one of the biggest Bitcoin mining hardware producers in the world, is expanding its reach by partnering with Fastblock and Bit5ive to help distribute its hardware, Antminers, in the South American region, according to a press release.

Irene Gao, Sales Director of NCSA at Antminer, spoke on the matter:

South America continues to be an important region for the cryptocurrency mining sector. Our collaboration with Fastblock and Bit5ive will help us to build on the relationships we have with the mining community on-the-ground and instill trust in the sales process of Antminers.”

The goal here is likely a large part of the Bitmain CEO’s plan to build the company up even more by expanding to different countries. Distribution is one of the largest ways to do that.

CEO and Co-Founder of Fastblock, Bernardo Schucman, spoke on the matter as well:

“We are excited to be bringing our blockchain knowledge from managing over 20 mining plants since 2014, to Antminer customers in the region. We are also able to guarantee the best prices and have a highly skilled team that can advise on the most cost-effective solutions for any mining project.”

The press release notes that these two companies were selected “due to their capabilities in providing customers in those location further expertise and added solution services.”
