Tesla Motors, Inc. is getting close to opening the Model X Design Studio which will allow shoppers and buyers to configure the soon to be released SUV online. A glimpse of the Model X Design Studio was revealed to some of those who have made a deposit on the car and can be viewed only when they are logged into the My Tesla area of the company website. The information and photos shown below were obtained from posts at the Tesla Motors Club forum.
Tesla Model X Signature Pricing
Prices for the base version are not shown but the Model X Signature Version with all options comes in at $143,750. This includes the Ludicrous Speed upgrade as well as the Subzero Weather and Tow packages. The standard Signature Model X is priced at $123,000. The pricing is in line with a fully equipped Model S P90D which comes in at $143,000.
Model X Features
Among the Model X features confirmed on the design studio page are:
- Ventilated leather seats with heating and cooling
- 240 miles range (EPA)
- 155 MPH top speed
- 3.8 seconds 0-60 MPH (3.2 secs in Ludicrous mode; 11.7 secs quarter mile)
- Automatically retracting rear spoiler
- 20″ wheels standard; 22″ optional
Adding the Subzero Weather Package could delay delivery by one month.
This is all very exciting news for Model X reservation holders as delivery seems very near. In last nights “August Update,” Tesla confirmed Model X delivery will begin late Q3.
