Tesla Motors Inc promises you’ll receive more than just a few perks if you’re driving around in its cars. One of the more exciting aspects about owning a Tesla is that the luxury car maker allows its customers to advocate the brand if they wish. There are those who love their Tesla EVs and want others to have the same elegant and fun experiences. In an effort to reward such loyal customers, and encourage them draw others to the brand, Tesla Motors has a thriving Referral Program.
The Tesla Referral Program dates back to the days of the Roadster. It has proven to be an extremely effective tool for the company and has it set to win the prestigious Extole ACE Award. A new iteration of the program is now in place. Tesla has added a batch of rewards, as well as an Annual Rewards plan. The latter is a means of growing the EV brand’s reach and encouraging its promotion.
New promotional referral period
The new promotional period of the Referral Program began this Monday. It will span over the next two months and end on March 15, 2017. The rules of the programs are fairly simple, a specific number of referrals will place owners in the running for a specific prize.
To begin with, every referral enters the owner into a drawing to win either a Ludicrous P100D Model S sedan or Model X SUV. The choice is theirs. Two successful referrals place a Tesla owner in the running to win a Tesla carry-on bag. Those who manage to pass on three get the chance to win a Founder Series Model S for Kids. A Founder Series Powerwall 2 can be won by any owner who gives out fives referrals. At the top end, anyone who gives out seven or more referral will be invited, with a plus one, to attend the Model 3’s delivery event later on this year.
Annual Awards Program from Tesla
There are even greater rewards with the new Annual Awards program. Any owner who gives out 15 successful referrals will gain a benefits package that lasts until the end of 2018. This package will include ten passes for four individuals to tour the Tesla Fremont Factory. They will also be given ten overnight passes to test drive the company’s cars. These can be passed on to family and friends. Staying with the prize for 15 referrals, it includes VIP access to Tesla events, as well as VIP concierge services.
Again, the prize will last through to the end of 2018.
Lastly, there is a grand price that awaits owners who manage 20 referrals. These people get a vacation weekend at a resort and a week’s long use of any latest Tesla they choose. In fact, the first owners to make 20 referrals in every continent get a free Ludicrous P100D Model S or Model X.
Elon Musk and his luxury car company are clearly pulling out all the stops to push the brand. However, all this comes from Tesla Motors’ need to prove that you don’t need to spend much cash on advertising. Simply release a fantastic, mind-boggling vehicle, and let consumers spread the word.
