  • ACH – Tastyworks highlights ACH as the most convenient way to fund accounts. This method requires you to set up an ACH profile through your brokerage account, move funds to and from your bank accounts. Depositing and withdrawing funds using this method is free.
  • Check – When you deposit funds using a check, it can take up three business days for your funds to be available for use. The check should be payable to Tastyworks and must contain your Tastyworks account number. you can fund your Tastyworks account by initiating an account transfer. This enables you to transfer your account with another brokerage firm to Tastyworks.
  • Wire Transfer – You can fund your trade account by making a wire transfer from your bank or another brokerage firm you have a trading account with. It is worth knowing that the sender’s name must match with the name on your Tastyworks account as third-party wire transactions are not accepted.

Non-US citizens can only fund their accounts through wire transfer and it can take up to 3 days. There is no fee for depositing funds into your Tastyworks account.

Withdrawal charge for account owners who are residents in the United States stands at $25, while for non-US residents it is $45. You can withdraw funds from your account via ACH and check if you are a US resident and only via wire transfer if you are a non-US resident.
