Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL), is heavily rumored to unveil its latest smartphones, Pixel and Pixel XL, at its hardware event next week in San Francisco. The search engine giant looks fully prepared for the event. Google Seems To Be Taking Aim at iPhone
It’s widely believed that Google will launch two smartphones at the event. Rumors suggests two Android devices with large displays, fast processors and sleek aluminum and glass designs. The most anticipated Google phones are likely to replace the company’s Nexus lineup.
The search engine giant seems to be taking aim at Apple’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with its smartphone, which will be powered by a special Android system. According to Android Police, the new smartphones will come a special version of Android Nougat.
Google isn’t happy with the perception that the iPhone is the only “premium” device on the market.
The search engine company was able to make its own mobile operating system to compete with Apple’s iOS, But it has always been difficult for the search engine company to find the handset that better displayed the software’s capabilities.
So, we expect that Pixel would be a full-Google smartphone.
