Jackson Hull, someone with expertise in building “high-volume eCommerce applications, global SaaS platforms, mobile, and IoT platforms,” has just been appointing as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of OakNorth’s credit platform business, reports Altfi.
Hull comes from GoCompare, a financial comparison website that examines the top-of-the-line United Kingdom brands to find the best possible product regarding a car, a home, or even for your pet.
The new CTO also participates as an adviser for a ton of different companies, including but not limited to Bloom & Wild, Kindred Capital, and Hubble. Bloom & Wild serves as a florist in the UK, Kindred Capital is a venture capital firm in London, and Hubble is a space for online, flexible office space.

Hull has also headed up tech teams across the world, including groups in Singapore, Ukraine, India, China, South America, and Europe. That and the man has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering for UC Davis paired with a Master’s degree from UC Berkeley in Information Systems.
While working at OakNorth, Hull will help with application delivery, enhancements, customizations, machine learning, emerging tech development, systems integrations, and much more, including being a leader with the company’s compliance and infrastructure teams.
Speaking on the collaboration is one Joel Perlman, a co-founder of OakNorth. There, he said that “Jackson has been a technology executive at several institutions, and a founder or early-stage employee at successful startups. He therefore not only has the knowledge and expertise that will be pivotal for this stage of OakNorth’s evolution, but also knows first-hand what it’s like to be an SME founder – the exact market our platform helps banks serve.”
According to the publication OakNorth has brought in more than $1 billion in funds from Clermont Group, Coltrane, GIC, Indiabulls, NIBC, Toscafund, SoftBank’s Vision Fund, and from other investors.
