Apple Inc Officially Invites You To iPhone 8 Unveiling
“Let’s meet at our place,” is what the invitation says. Apple, after months of rumors and speculation is finally inviting people to its September event. The event, like it does every year, will house the company’s iPhone upgrades.
No official information is given about what the premium tech firm plans to unveil. However, if previous years are anything to go on, and they using are, then fans can expect an iPhone upgrade as well as a new Apple Watch.
The rumor mill has been spinning fast, unrelenting with its release of online hints from experts and citing alleged leaks. However, Apple proves to know more about its final devices than anyone else.
This is the first time an Apple unveiling will be held at Apple’s new headquarters. “Let’s meet at our place” relays the company’s excitement over the move. For fans, the products unveiled will have most of the their attention.
So what can be expected? Well, experts foretell the arrival of a new Apple Watch. An Apple TV will also show, and three new iPhones.
The iPhones are perhaps the most exciting revelation. The special edition will help fanatics celebrate ten years of the gadget’s production. It will also be Apple’s first handset to house an OLED display. The company has held onto the tech for far too long. Leading rivals LG and Samsung produce winning handsets on sheer screen brilliance alone. It’s about time Apple Inc. caught up.
The iPhone 7S and 7S Plus will also come along as expected. Fans can expect an enhanced camera, better processing and beefed up software among other things.
New Apple Watch
The new Apple Watch will be the first of its product range to not need an iPhone for internet connectivity. Tim Cook acorporation was relatively slow in releasing a LTE-enabled wrist piece.
Competitors, Huawei, Xiaomi and even Samsung have wearables that can independently go online. Xiaomi, is a tech giant China, far-reach and growing rapidly. It took over as the best-selling wearables brand during 2017’s second quarter.
Samsung’s gear S3 is an LTE capable wrist piece, too. But Apple reiterated its product stance last quarter while speaking to Bloomberg. Cook said it is not about being first. It is about being the best. Bearing that, can the new watch prove to be the best among all the 2017 smartwatches?
Apple has already confirmed that watchOS 4 becomes fully available this Fall. What better way to flaunt new software capabilities than with a new device capable of making the most of them.
Analysts insists that the new Apple Watch will stay more or less the same in terms of appearance. Trusted expert and conveyor of Apple happenings, Ming-Chi Kuo, asserts that any face change will be nothing dramatic. The American tech corporation will also stick to the same, 38mm and 42mm sizes of last year’s models.
The biggest addition will be LTE connectivity, says Kuo. The next generation watches will come in two version, those with online connectivity and those without. There is little doubt that the LTE-enabled variants will poke a bigger hole in consumer pockets than their conventional siblings.
