Software updates are keeping Model S owners glued to a car believed to be the epitome of luxury in the EV space. Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) has always made it clear that changes will always be forthcoming as technology continues to evolve and advance with a view of enhancing drivers experience.
Dante Richardson’s is one happy owner who believes Model S has solved all his questions about electric cars as Tesla Motors continues to provide new updates aimed at enhancing the driving experience. When he bought the car, Richardson main target was to clock the 1,000 miles mark, but after exceeding 120,000 miles he believes there is nothing better than an electric car, more so Model S.
Tesla Motors updates keep things fresh
A physician in Washington, Richardson affirms that Tesla Motors lead product has met his expectations in terms acceleration, handling and cold weather performance. The fact that the car continues to update itself over the air once new updates are released brings something new and unique, yet to be experienced in the auto industry especially the electric space.
Over the years, He has seen Tesla upgrade his car with new trip planning tools as well as location-based smart air suspension. The future for Model S can only be brighter as technology in the EV space continues to advance. Having driven the car for 120,000 miles is just an indication of how connected Richardson has become to his toy.
Living with a Tesla
Having started on Tesla Motors first model, the Roadster, Richardson quickly fell in love with electric cars and decided to buy the Model-S that he felt suited all his driving needs. Things have changed since he bought the Model S with the emergence of more charging stations across the country that have considerably alleviated concerns about running out of charge when on long distance travels.
A charging network made of 190 supercharging stations just shows the great lengths Tesla Motors has gone to make its cars desirable in the US. The charging network now covers 80% of the total population considerably alleviating the range anxiety debacle. Having to wake up to a car that does not produce any fumes or require any gas station makes it worthwhile to own the Model S, affirms Richardson.
