Apple Inc. will now apply Belkin screen protectors onto iPhones right there in the store. Error 53 will help protect your data but Belkin will protect your screen. In the past, Apple Stores have sold and installed screen protectors, but the firm recently gave them a training to use a new Belkin screen protector application machine that makes sure no bubbles or dust imperfections appear under the film during application.
Not all iPhones are eligible
Apple has made available this service only for the iPhone models released in the past two years i.e. the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, and 6s Plus. It can also be applied to the iPhones brought in off the street. Unfortunately, the machines are not designed to work with the iPhone 5S or its previous models.
The machine works exclusively with Belkin screen protectors. This means that the machine does not support the screen protectors of other brands. However, it is possible for the store employees to apply those manually. Apple Store charges $35 for Belkin’s screen protectors and applies them for free.
The biggest advantage that Belkin’s screen protectors have is that they will be applied in the right manner as the person applying will be a professional, who has received proper training. Applying a screen protector is a tricky process, and therefore, it is advisable that people make a trip to the Apple Inc. Store for getting it done.
