Apple Inc. (AAPL) Turns Spotlight on MacBook Pro’s Sweet Makeover

Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) Stock

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) hasn’t really upgraded its popular MacBook Pro computers in years. But that is about to change as the tech titan is set to give the MacBook Pros somewhat of a makeover soon. The upgrades will consist of a Touch ID sensor and an organic light-emitted diode (OLED) touchbar.

Apple Inc. Has Two Upgrades For MacBook Pros

Although all of the attention is being placed on the soon-to-be-released iPhone 7, the MacBook Pro should be getting the spotlight.

Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) Laptop, iPad and iPhone

It may have been more than four years since Apple decided to upgrade its lineup of Macbook Pros. The Macbook Pro 2016 will certainly change that pattern as one of the richest brands in the world is about to make a chance to the popular product.

Apple sources tell 9to5Mac that two major features will be added to the MacBook Pro that have yet to be seen in the product line. This year’s MacBook Pro will have a Touch ID sensor that functions as a fingerprint authentication. The computer will also maintain an OLED touch bar that will sit above the keyboard.

If the reports are true then Apple is joining a list of other brands that have inserted the Touch ID sensor. An array of makers, like HP and Lenovo, have added this function to their Windows notebooks. In any event, this addition is a big move for Apple because the fingerprint technology it presently uses in its iPhones and iPads.

In regards to the touch bar, experts say it will allow users to have instant access to a wide variety of features and notifications that meet the user’s preference.

Most of the details about the updates remain unknown. Apple has yet to confirm the reports. We won’t know anything until Apple officially announces the upgrades.

Is Buying New Apple Inc. Tech Today a Bad Idea?

The fall season is upon us. This means that brands like Apple will release new or upgraded products. Reportedly, Apple will unleash a so-called “mega refresh cycle.” And this has many wondering: would it be prudent to buy a new Apple product right now?

Aside from the Apple TV and the iPad Pro, nothing else is really worth buying right now, experts say. The iPhone 7 may be a good buy, the MacBook Pro has some interesting upgrades and the 5K iMac should offer up a wait-and-see approach. The Apple Watch is also a product in which you should wait to see what happens.

Ostensibly, the iPhone 8 is a mobile device that you should definitely wait for.

Since it’s the 10th anniversary iPhone, many reports are suggesting that Apple will provide “a revolutionary revamp of its flagship gadget.” Reports note that the iPhone 8 will have an “all-new facelift, amazing screen tech and even VR capabilities.” LCD may also be dropped in favor of OLED.

Because of these latest reports, consumers are mulling over if they should buy Apple’s new gadgets or wait another year. Apple will likely want to rejuvenate its iPhone sales so its 10th anniversary smartphone will likely be a big deal.
