Samsung is preparing to unveil its next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8, at the end of this month. The Galaxy S8 is rumored to feature a wireless charging technology, a dual-camera setup and, a waterproof design. It is expected to have a safe and improved battery.
Rumors suggest that the Korean electronics giant will also launch the Galaxy S8+, a larger model with many of the same features and specifications.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Rumors
The Korean tech giant is expected to introduce the Galaxy S8 with curved displays covering the entire front of the smartphone.
The standard model would have a 5.8-inch display with 2,960 x 1,440 resolution. While the larger model is expected to feature a 6.2-inch screen with the same resolution. The handsets are rumored to come in three colors: black, silver and violet.
Rumors suggest that the Galaxy S8 would come without the home button. According to the reports, Samsung has no plans to ditch the headphone jack in its smartphones including the Galaxy S8.
The Galaxy S8 is said to feature a 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
A new report from Bloomberg has suggested that the Galaxy S8 would use a front-facing sensor to scan the face of the user for unlocking. This means there is no need for a fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone.
The Galaxy S8 is expected to run the latest version of Android Nougat. It would also feature IP68 dust- and water-resistance.
“Depending on your model and region, you will be able to tell your Mobile Device to activate certain functions, such as playing songs from a playlist or looking up for something on the web using S Voice,” the translation of the paragraph reads. “In addition to that, you will be able to control all the operations made with the touch interface using voice commands with Bixby.”
Meanwhile, users are expected to find an improved battery technology in the Galaxy S8. After the disastrous Note 7, the Korean tech giant invested time and money into making a safer battery technology. The Galaxy S8 is expected to be powered by a 3,000mAh battery, while the S8+ would get an enlarged 3,500mAh battery.
The Galaxy S8 is rumored to feature a fast wireless charging technology. Ubergizmo reported that the Galaxy S8 would feature faster wireless charging with a new Qi base.
Release Date and Price
Samsung will launch the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ in London on March 29.
The Korean tech giant is rumored to price the Galaxy S8 at cost $900 and the Galaxy S8+ at $1100. They are expected to be the most expensive smartphones on the market.
