Apple Likely To Introduce Updated MacBook Pro Next Year
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) launched the new MacBook Pro line up, which includes two modes with touch bar and a 13-inch computer without the touch bar, on October 27. All of models feature a Retina display, USB-C ports, Touch ID, Touch Bar, and a larger Force Touch trackpad.
The company touted the new MacBook Pro as the most powerful notebook ever. It features sixth-generation quad-core and dual-core processors and up to four Thunderbolt 3 ports.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who is famous for making accurate predictions about Apple products, said in a report that the new MacBook Pro has two main problems: limited memory option and high price.
The analyst said that he expects the tech giant to introduce refreshed MacBook Pros next year to fix these two main problems. Kuo said that Apple is planning to launch the new MacBook Pros in the second half of 2017. The new laptops will come with price cut and a 32GB RAM option.
Currently, Apple is selling the low-end 13-inch MacBook Pro at $1,800, and the high-end 15-inch notebook featuring Intel Core i7 2.7GHz quad-core processor and 512GB of storage at $2,800.
As far as demand is concerned, Kuo anticipates a steady demand for the MacBook in mid-2017 due to two problems he pointed out in his report. But the analyst believes that the demand will increase in late 2017 when Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will introduce the refreshed MacBook Pros.
