The Video Ink reported that Netflix has inked an agreement with 20th Century Fox Television Distribution to be the exclusive global streaming home of the FX docu-drama series “American Crime Story.” The drama series is being produced by Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions.

Moreover, Netflix announced that it will premiere its original documentary “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead” on Aug. 19. As we reported earlier, the company is getting ready to unveil its latest original series “Stranger Things” this summer. Stranger Things, from newcomer writer/director brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, will have eight episodes.

Recently, the company announced that it will produce an original content for the Indian market. The streaming service’s first production, a crime drama series, is adaptation of the 2006 best-seller “Sacred Games” by Vikram Chandra. It will shot on location in India and produced by Phantom Films, a local production company.

In addition, Netflix, Inc. is looking for ways to enter China. The company’s Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos believes that the company can break into the complex Chinese market without a local partner.
